As your editor, I am pleased to announce that the Hijab issue of Niexter Online is out. It is better viewed on a computer rather than on a mobile phone.
We have ex-pop star Mizz Nina sharing her thoughts about hijab, and changing for the better, Muslimah student fashion, hijab social media accounts, an ode to durian, reviews on the latest MU v.s. Liverpool match and the Coffitivity App, articles on cycling and K-Pop, the tale of a blogger studying Actuarial Science in the States, and an insight on what it’s like wearing the Niqab.
Thanks to all contributors! And an extra big thank you to Kak Noorin for choosing me to become editor.
For your information, Niexter is the News Straits Times’ teen pullout. It used to be in print, but now it is online.
I had fun as the editor. Discussing content, finding writers, submitting stuff before deadlines. Of course, there were a few rough times, but hey, I got to interview Mizz Nina (this is not a link to the interview article, but to my blog post on the experience of interviewing her)! Heh.
For this issue, I wrote three articles. Click to enlarge!
1) Editor’s Note [x]
2) Interview with Mizz Nina [x]
3) FASHION: Muslimahs in College [x]
Don’t forget to check out the rest of the articles too!
This is a stepping stone for me Insya Allah. Alhamdulillah, for everything. What else should I do before officially turning eighteen?
